I Am To My Love

I am to my love
And he is to me
My white little bird
Why to get absurd
This is crystal clear
Better hear
Don't blame or get mad
Or be sad
I am to my love
And he is to me

Winter is gone he said
And the dove returned
Apples blossomed
And I see at my doors
Little dew and sun
And in your eyes
My spring, light and fun
And when he called
I did not hesitate
I ran to my fate

He stole me
From my sleep and comfort
And on his road I escort
The beauty
And asked the sun of love
To bits by bits
Our love story knits.

Sami Cherkaoui

The Fatigued Sailor

Hold me for an instant
Like an infant
In your arms
Pass me your charms
Teach me your name
Let me feel this holy flame
I am the fatigued sailor
Who reached your harbor
Through the waves of fate
I know I am late
But I need you to take me
Hug me
And let me rest
On your chest
Teach me
How to live and stand
How to talk and walk
In your land
So God may keep us
And protect
